Review on πŸ“Š EatSmart Precision MaxView Digital Bathroom Scale: Accurate Readings on a Large Backlit LCD Display - Sleek Silver Design by Kyle Sutter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Well done. It is easiest to read without glasses.

A floor scale suits me well. I researched bathroom scales on Google and Youtube. The EastSmart line came highly recommended and I opted for a more affordable model. However, the big numbers convinced me. I don't wear glasses in the shower, so it annoys me to see the numbers on most bathroom scales. However, the EatSmart Precision looks good. I have not tested its accuracy by placing known weights on it. Like some scale testers. But for me it's academic. More importantly, it's repeatable, whatever the reading - if you go up, up, up a little later, the reading shouldn't change. That's how it is with my scale. They report the same value to the nearest 0.2 pounds, which is their resolution anyway. What I expect from an accurate scale is that it accurately shows my weight changes from day to day. This scale makes it very accurate on the sample I have. It also seems to register the same weight no matter where I put my feet. Which was not the case with my previous scales. A small but important detail is that the battery compartment is of high quality. I had to buy these because my previous scale (not EastSmart) is fully functional and I'm happy with it. But it looks like there is an open contact in the battery compartment. This little problem makes it useless no matter how I change new batteries. I've lost count of how many devices (some quite expensive) are intermittent due to poor battery contact. Therefore, I can only warmly recommend this bathroom scale. ,.
