Review on 📷 Pixel 2.4GHz Digital Wireless Remote Control S2 Shutter Release for Sony Cameras - Replacement for Sony RM-SPR1 by Randy Bin

This is a revised version of my original review which was given a 1x* (star) due to the remote control I received not working. To my surprise, the seller contacted me and offered to exchange the device. I worked in production for a long time and know that sometimes a defective device finds its way to the end user. But good customer service can fix a mistake and save the day. However, after receiving the replacement unit, I tested it over the weekend. I took over 1200 shots (RAW+JPG) (all with Pixel remote) indoors and outdoors. Not a single "hitch". I have it in all modes (M, S, A, P) and single, continuous flash, Incandescent lamp etc. tried. I remotely turned on a camera installed outside my home about 20 feet from the window, it worked perfectly. I even tested the trigger 2 rooms away from the camera indoors and it worked every time. Verdict: The Pixel L1's wireless shutter works great with the Lumix G85 both indoors and outdoors. Has good range. The trigger and receiver are smaller than other remote triggers (more portable, making it easier to pack for outdoor use).
