Avoid it, spend a little more

They have a few downsides. First, the nuts are not the exact size of the strut threads, so when tightened to the chassis, they pop off immediately with moderate torque. Also, the diameter of the post is much smaller than a good sleeper post, it is more of a SAE 6 post size rather than an 8 or 10 post bolt size. I actually had an after fracture, no tensile strength. Such inferior unnecessary parts give China a bad name in the US, especially since we can compare it to a good bookbinder's post made in the US decades ago. But I did get some good bars from China in packs of 4, they had the correct nuts and what appeared to be a number 8 bar shank.

Pros
  • 100% brand new and high quality.
Cons
  • Can't remember
