Back in 2016 I bought one of these dark brown fly swatters. I still use it; it still goes strong and i still love it! This is the perfect WHAM-PER fly in every way (skin thickness, pad size, wood quality, handle length and craftsmanship) and the sound it makes gives you a sense of satisfaction from pesky pests. even if you miss In addition to his outstanding skills, he is even-tempered and even-tempered. The leather is perfectly preserved as it is aged and worn and there are no cracks on the handle. It hangs indoors when not in use as it is practical and attractive. I appreciate handmade tools. Fast forward to 2018, I recently bought 3 more of these: one to my friend who has an infestation of biting deer flies, one to my husband and another. They do not correspond to the description or the original (see photo). They've gone up in price, but the grips have gotten smaller and the wood doesn't feel the same anymore. The swatter pads are still the same size but are 1/16 inch thinner (this is important as they wear and age) and they are not balanced or aligned - they wobble to the left. My friend didn't know. difference, but my husband certainly did! Me too of course. Now he tears my eyes out. No! I want to kill flies, not throw a piece of skin at them and hope for the best - the range just isn't there with such a short grip. So who it concerns: Shoppers who buy handmade items usually don't mind spending a little more because we value handmade items and expect what we buy to be better than the bare minimum, higher materials and/or quality and craftsmanship. I sincerely hope that the people making this product care enough to listen to their customers and bring it back in all its original glory. Please. That's discouraging. I'm glad I got the original when I bought it, but I won't be buying another one of these unless they return the original product as my first along with care and workmanship. And I will be returning 2 of the 3 I bought unless my girlfriend wants them back too, in which case you will get all 3 back.
