I turned up my new Samsung Tab A 2017 with no problems. After switching it on, I additionally protected the device with a rubberized cover. Carrying the tablet safely in a case that tucked into its own pocket for added protection and a case that was only taken for work in the passenger seat, I was shocked and disappointed to see the lid in ripped from edge to edge in a snake pattern. Again, this item was not dropped and the bag it was in during the commute was not damaged. The SuperShieldz lid just cracked. I'm very disappointed as I personally feel that such easily crackable screens will do little to protect my tablet's screen when something more important might happen.
