What a cute little coffee maker. It took me almost 2 weeks. Pros: small, compact and SUPER quiet. You won't know it's brewing until the last "burst" of water is spilled from the tank. I like that the heating switches off after 30 minutes. Aesthetically, sage green with brown and gold looks classy and trendy. Cons: It's mostly plastic and very light. One has to wonder how long this will last. The brewer also includes a reusable mesh brew basket, which is a plus, but it's WHITE. Pooh! No amount of denture cleanser can remove stains from my oily dark roast. It should be brown like the rest of the innards (and will be soon). Finally, I would like to mention something I found brilliant about the design. The brew basket exits into the pot through a long stick or "straw" that fills the bottom of the pot. I have found this to be quite effective in softening the darker brew (or Turkish yeast in my case) which tends to linger at the bottom. I really appreciate this feature and believe that the first cup will be just as rich as the last. Every brewer should consider that! Overall a bit pricey for the size but still a good buy.
