I don't get that "exciting" feeling even if I skip essences or serums that I often get with other moisturizers I've tried in the past. It's rich but not heavy, so it never clogged my pores or felt like it just sat there. It glides very well on the skin and has a cool refreshing effect immediately after application; only felt when applied with no layers underneath, I felt it with a layer of toner. It has a light, fresh, herbal scent that disappears upon application. It's only noticeable when I put my fingers right in front of my nose. I think it's a blend of all natural ingredients. I will buy again. There is nothing about this product that I don't like!
