If I could give them 10 stars I would! I have a strong figure because I'm fat and short in the waist. I wear between 12 and 14 (168 pounds) and wanted something that would cover my thighs. Almost impossible to find a 5 inch inseam. Lg size is perfect for me. My sister tried mine on and she loved them so much she gave me her credit card and told me to order one for her in every color they came in! The navy looks more like navy than briar and thanks to the reviewer for answering my question about it. I plan to wear them casual wear with a nice summer top. They have a finished look (no lace). The cuff is permanent and I waited to wash/dry it before posting this review. The cuff stayed in place with no shrinkage. I didn't dry them completely, just put them in the dryer for a few minutes and hung them up. I believe they could be fully tumble dried but I didn't want to risk it because I like the way they sit and look. lose their shape!
