I like these shorts for a more casual commute. Not only do they look great, but they are also very functional. Pockets are small but big enough for keys, cash or T/s. My iPhone fits but feels too tight when pedaling. The size is right. I've read that they were finely trimmed but didn't find that to be the case. I had to return the large one I bought and exchanged for a medium one. The exchange went smoothly and the postage was covered. I'm 31-32 inches and the medium fits perfectly. They need to be pulled up to the waist for the padding to fit snugly. However, the unlined bottom does not crease or rub and offers a high level of comfort.
