I really needed some storage on my small countertop and this was just the thing. However, people comment on how easy it was to put together. I've been collecting things all my life, but it wasn't as easy as others have said. It was very difficult to screw this together because the holes didn't line up very well, at least on my part. I actually got blisters on my arm from the screwdriver that came with it, so I ended up using my electric screwdriver, which worked much faster (not BETTER, but faster). The top is not attached but sits snugly on it and it doesn't seem to fit perfectly. Constant shifts, but I can handle it. As the bread bin is tall and fits under the cabinet there isn't any usable space above it I thought, but you can remove the top and separate like the others. It really does take a lot and gets things off my countertop. In general I like it.
