I bought it for soap dishes so they don't disappear. My only complaint regarding using the soap waste is that the pouch is very long which is why I gave it 4 stars. After putting the bars of soap in, I folded the bag in half lengthwise to use it. A little cumbersome, but still works. The smaller version is only suitable for soap waste. Some reviewers said they had foam issues. I had no problems with that. The material is the same as the bath towel. I've only been using it for a few days so I can't comment on durability.
