I bought it as a gift for my 15 year old.
She is allergic to metals so the gold plate on the sterling is perfect for her sensitive ears. I know they are comfortable because she hasn't taken them off since she got them for Christmas.

- Fasteners can be difficult to work with, making them difficult to put on and take off.
