I wasn't able to force the plug between meals.
I couldn't get the connector between the power supply and the "battery adapter" no matter how hard I tried. That does not fit. So I cut the connector component (on the power side) to fit without getting near any of the electrical pins. Once connected it wouldn't turn on my Nikon. Useless gear - find another brand!
