Update: One of the cables is capable of up to 2.0A. The other two are less than 1.7A to charge my iPad. 2.0 Not the best, but better than many other cheap cables. As I said below, the build quality looks very good. I'm increasing it from 1 to 3 stars because I managed to get a good cable out. I'm not sure anymore if I'm going to return them. These are supposed to be MFI certified cables. I tested them with a USB multimeter as soon as I received them. They charge my iPad at somewhere between 1.6 and 1.8A instead of 2.4A. Also, with one of the cables, the iPad says "this accessory is not supported" and then stops charging. So unfortunately I am sending it back immediately. It's a shame because the cables are nicely designed and feel solid. I would pay a few bucks more for a true MFI certified cable. I've had no luck with cables of similar designs at suspiciously low prices. So far the only 3rd party cables I've come across that are truly MFI certified and charge at 2.4A are those from IXCC.
