Review on Erno Laszlo Vitality Treatment Mask: Plump & Clarify With Mineral Powder Blend + Serum Lotion - 4 Pack (1.25 Fl Oz Each) by Nicole Bryant

I love face masks, I use them all the time but I have only recently started trying out ones that are primarily for hydration. I used the Korean face masks, but they did nothing. Some of the leave on gel ones work well though you can really use any gel moisturizer and put on a lot before bedtime and it does the same thing.Anyway, this is different from other hydration masks. First thing is that you have to mix a powder with a liquid to form the paste that is the mask. This contained 4 packets of powder and 4 bottles of liquid. I don’t mind mixing but I like to be able to parse out how much product I use. After mixing together one of each and putting on a thick layer of the paste, I still had almost half left. I guess I can just use half the powder and half the liquid next time but I am taking off a star for that. I left it on for the full 20 minutes. It did not dry enough for me to peel it off so I left it on about 10 more minutes. It dried but in chunks of peels (to remove, I recommend using a disposable wipe, the mask turns rubbery and you won’t want that going down your drain). If you have sensitive skin, 20-30 minutes may be too much for you. Afterwards my skin felt nice but I wouldn’t say it worked that much better than just using moisturizer before bed as far as hydration goes. It did give me some of the benefits you get with a good mud mask, a nice glow and tightened pores. Plus some nice hydration. But why buy this instead of a less expensive mask? I guess if $80 seems reasonable to you for 4-8 treatments you would. I would not.
