Smooth yarn: less lint, less breakage
I mainly use Gutermann & Mettler yarn for several reasons: - Gives much less lint than many other brands (Coats & Clark in particular) - This cotton yarn The thread is smooth and does not twist or twist when hand sewing like I have experienced with others. - If for some reason your tension isn't too tight, this thread doesn't break as often as I've experienced with other brands. - Thread glides through fabric smoother than other brands I've seen - Thread comes on a spool that fits standard sewing machine thread holders.
