Firstly they are NOT 35L. About 26-27 liters by my calculations. Even if you add side pockets, you still don't get another 8 liters. Givi exaggerates. They're narrow, tall and tall - just what you DON'T need in a holdall. The main pockets have large vents at the bottom to keep water and dust out. Using the provided stuff sacks is not an option, it is a necessity. They're fairly heavy for soft luggage - with adapters, they weigh about 8.5 pounds on each side, which is only 3.5 pounds lighter than my hard cases. However, the weight is not due to heavy materials. They are made of thin materials. You can't fall. In short, compared to bags like Mosko, Great Loop, Wolfman, etc. (at a similar price) they are much worse. I looked at them and put them on the bike, but didn't even install them. Returned.
