Definitely not what I expected. From the pictures it looked like it would be bright color even in normal lighting and glow but it's that clear off white color and it barely glows. I am very experienced with glow in the dark stuff and I charged it very well but it barely glowed. Its extremely durable but very heavy and bulky. This is great if you're just looking for something durable but not if you were like me and looking for something you can spot just in case you lose it in a room.
