It's very similar to one of those hotel duvets, if not as uncomfortably smooth/rough (it sounds like a contradiction, but you know the texture of the Super 8 duvets? Not too bad). Although I suspected so. I got it because my bed always falls out a bit when the zoom has to work and the homemade blanket my grandma made me is a bit busy and also very worn. This solid green blanket protects the blanket from pet claws and is a nice non-distracting element in my Zoom background. i like the color It's not too uncomfortable unless it's hot, and then, as I said, not too breathable. On summer days I would lie on the bedspread and sweat a little more than usual. But for the price and what I want, it works very well. Easy to clean, dries quickly. Gets pretty static in the dryer. Pet hair is clearly visible on it - I have a large white dog that sheds all the time. It protects the duvet very well. No more tormenting bored cats. And the blanket is strong enough to withstand their claws so far.
