I purchased this cable on recommendation after purchasing an ASUS 2560x1440 monitor. Well the cable worked fine but I couldn't get the monitor to run at 2560 x 1440 even though my graphics card was more than capable of handling it. After trying to adjust the settings on the computer and searching the internet it was mentioned that the resolution is limited by the cable (which seems silly to me these days) but I went back and read the description and of course the cable is fine only for 1920x1080, it's time to buy a new cable. Be sure to read the entire description before purchasing.
