It can work, it can't.

I ordered this to use with my Cintiq. For some reason, Wacom went with the mini-DP. I needed an adapter to work with my favorite PC. I also wanted to be able to work in 4K@60Hz, so I went for that option. Once I connected everything everything seemed to work. but that didn't last long. About 15 minutes after I plugged everything in, my Cintiq started flickering and intermittently rebooting. At first I thought it was something to do with my Cintiq or maybe a problem with my DP. I even tried lowering the resolution to 1080. The flickering and resetting continued. I even connected the Cintiq to another computer that had a mini DP with the connectors that came with the Cintiq. It worked fine. When I tried this cable on the same computer, it happened again. I've done all the steps, all my drivers are up to date and I've given this cable a real try, but it's just defective. It appeared to be solidly built, but unfortunately looks don't help with functionality. I really wanted this to work. I paid for same day shipping so I'm giving you this. I hate leaving negative reviews but I just can't justify buying a product that only lasts 15 minutes.
