Review on Ultimate Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy Edition - Xbox 360 by Mike Ken

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The greatest parts of the Assassin's Creed universe! The Ezio Trilogy is the best you can get!

I have to admit I'm totally in love with the Assassin's Creed franchise. I love the gameplay, I love the characters, I love the villains, I love the music, and I really love the storylines that go with it. But the greatest storylines of all were Ezio's story in Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed Revelations. These were the greatest games ever made. While I loved the first Assassin's Creed game, I wish we could get more out of Altair. Don't get me wrong, Altair was a hard hitter and I thought he would be a great start for the franchise. But we felt like there was something missing from our character. And then we met Ezio in Assassin's Creed II. When I first met this guy (on screen) I immediately fell in love with his character. He was a rebellious teenager, someone who knew how to fight and speak his mind (even if it's too much). Not to mention he was a "ladies man" which I was very pleased to see in our new character. As the games have evolved, we've seen Ezio evolve and really evolve. Of course, he was still the young, rebellious, romantic, badass killer we always knew him to be. But wow, we've seen a lot of changes in Ezio, both physically and mentally. That's when I realized that I love these games more than the first and newer ones because the character development in Ezio and some other characters is done really well. We could feel these changes taking place and we could go along with them without hesitation. It's the same evolution that makes II, Brotherhood, and Revelations such compelling games. That's pretty impressive. The villains in this trilogy are actually okay. Templars make great villains in this game and I can feel how much trouble they bring to the world and the killer. The current templars are very well done and I appreciate the danger they pose. In the past. Spring. it depends on what game you're playing. Both II and the Brotherhood actually did very well with the big villains controlling the Templars, in Revelations the villains felt a little underpowered. But still, they're all intimate, and that's enough to make a good story. The music in each of these games is just amazing. In fact, this is the best music in the entire series. This series wouldn't be as good without him. The emotional settings of this trilogy are also based on this music. Assassin's Creed created perhaps the greatest music in video game history. The storylines of these three games are very exciting and very emotional. Ezio's development and journey are at the heart of the games, which makes it all the more interesting. We see him overcome incredible odds and struggle with the pain of his past and present. If I had to choose who has the best storyline, I would choose Brotherhood. The romance in this trilogy is very good, it's the best the entire franchise has to offer. Ezio is a womanizer, but only three women have won his heart: Cristina Vespucci, Caterina Sforza and Sofia Sartor. I admit that there is a lot of emotion in his novels. There's even a shot like "Romeo and Juliet" that I won't spoiler for. Heck, we even see Ezio finally reconcile with one of those three girls thanks to the events of Revelations. If I had to choose who Ezio's "true" love would be, it would be Christina Vespucci. The romance between them was so strong and so beautiful that you could say they were meant to be. The characters in this series are amazingly developed, both in the present and in the past. Desmond Miles is a very likable character, including Lucy, Sarah and Sean. Also characters from the past like Mario, Leonardo da Vinci and Octavian make the game even more fun. The gameplay of all these games is just enjoyable, fun, amazing and just represents a whole new level of gaming. You can just enjoy the world of these games and have freedom of action (which is damn cool). Brotherhood gameplay is why Brotherhood is the best game in the entire Assassin's Creed series. I absolutely believe this trilogy is worth buying. These are the best games in the series, and they're worth the time spent on them. The characters are great, the music is awesome, the story is gripping and emotional, the action is fun, and the gameplay is some of the best. The character development is also amazing. Just buy this game! It's worth it!
