Review on 🐱 Vesper Lounger: Elevated Cat Tree with Cozy Hideout by Chelsea Hernandez

Don't force parts to lock together without perfect alignment

Assembly requires no tools or hardware. Definitely one of my favorite features of this cat tower. The whole tree is folded and locked like a puzzle. It reminds me of an IKEA product. All wooden elements are covered with smooth bright white paint. The wood portions of the true color of the wood are only visible in the incised parts. Nothing stands out when all the parts are put together. Overall, the cat tower is veneered in white on the outside. One observation I made while assembling the cat tower is that the veneer can chip off. I hadn't completely leveled the boards, and some of the white veneer was peeling off. It was right in the seam of the cat tower, so it's not very noticeable, but I've noticed it since I did it. At the same time, I take full responsibility for the veneer chipping. My recommendation for investigating this and moving on with the rest of the build was to be more careful and make sure each piece is straight before trying to push them together. Even a second pair of hands can help hold the pieces together during assembly. There are three possible beds in this cat tower. Square pillows. They are a medium gray color that goes well with the white color of the cat tower. The bottom and middle levels have large crates surrounding the cats, while the top tower has a raised ledge. My cats are older and not as fun as kittens, but I do see kittens happily crawling in and out of holes. She has the potential to be a very playful tower cat as well as a good roost. The lower level does not have a wooden floor, so the pillow rests directly on the floor. I would like to see a lower part for easier maneuverability. I assembled this in my garage and was going to move it later. Looking back, I should have collected it in the room I was going to leave it. It was uncomfortable but not impossible. I find it would be easier to do this with the bottom of the tree. The absence of the lower part of the tree does not affect stability. It's still very stable and my toddler tested it before we gave it to the cats.
