I was in Mexico last week and wanted a waterproof camera. The disposables were 35mm and almost the same price, so I figured what the heck. I threw in a 32 mega SD card. It worked very well. You can't expect great quality from a 720 sensor, a 1280 x 720 image always looks bad. Although for 20 dollars I took everything in the sea, in the pool and shot a lot of videos. It stayed waterproof the whole time and had decent battery life. You need to open the waterproof case and take out the camera to switch from video mode to photo mode.
