'Compatible'. For real? This is a hit-or-miss opportunity!

I ordered this 'Charging Kit' for my Tungsten E2 through BargainCell as I have bought from them in the past and have had no problems with them so far. Found this "charging kit" WILL NOT CHARGE Tungsten E2! Emails back and forth to BargainCell, two long distance calls, about an hour on the phone to let me know this "charger kit" is compatible with both Tungsten and Treo models. Well, it's a "no". The cable initiates "sync" when the button is pressed, but does not charge the E2. I tested it myself, compared it to the original Palm cable, and found that BargainCell's cable has about half as many pins at the base of the Palm connector. Without a doubt, there aren't enough of those that offer "Load"! The USB car adapter and wall adapter look completely "useless" unless someone wants to try to sync their palm to their car or home! When I look online I see many similar products all claiming to be compatible with both Tungsten and Treo. same claim! Having paid almost as much for shipping as I did for the item itself, BargainCell expected me to return it for a refund! Without a doubt I will not refund you "my" shipping costs and will subtract the shipping costs I already paid to have this shipped to me! Needless to say, this is a losing proposition for me anyway. Either go through all the hassle and expense to get a "few bucks" refund, or keep the car USB and wall charger and toss the cord in the trash. Listing everything that makes the same "compatibility" statement, I think I'll save my time and hassle and just spend $20 and get the original from Palm! market cheaply. Not for me anymore! I will overspend and buy genuine OEM products and maybe even save money in the long run by not wasting time on emails and phone calls after incompatible issues are found and companies don't care. proper research! And what really turns me on is that something is so "simple"! Most likely, BargainCell is just an import reseller, taking the importer's words as "gospel" and not listening to customers when they call and say "hello". That does not work! I don't know what "value" others place on their time, but this experience probably cost me more than double the cost of an OEM product! Was it really a "deal"?
