There are expensive mouse pads out there and there are affordable ones like this product and honestly only if the mouse pad doesn't have built in RGB lighting or whatever or electronics, they all look the same unless you need a mouse pad built for speed. I like this mouse pad because it gives me more control over my movements. It's neither too slippery nor too rough, just enough for good mouse control. I washed it once when I spilled juice on it. It washed easily and I used a hair dryer to dry it. Still works fine. I chose this cartoon theme to create a sense of balance in my gaming setup. After using this mouse pad for several months, I couldn't justify buying expensive gaming mouse pads. I won't hesitate to buy another one if I ever need one, or maybe try a different design.
