I bought this mount to use my cell phone as a GPS. I thought it was great at first but would have given it 5 stars anyway. On my second trip with him I had to wait 2 hours outside my daughter's camp in over 100 degrees heat for the gate to open. On the way home I noticed the mount dangle and dangle. On my next ride it fell apart completely and I found that the wobble was due to the suction cup splitting completely in two where it attached to the plastic mounting arm (the little ring that connects to the plastic arm and the rest of it was). partial cup). While it works as advertised, its lack of rigidity is unacceptable even for a cheap mount. UPDATE: Artek contacted me after I posted my review. They have requested photos of my failed mount so they understand what went wrong so they can change their product and replace my mount free of charge under warranty. Upon re-examining the mount while photographing, it was found that the suction cup had not detached from the two pieces, but the attachment of the suction cup to the mount did not withstand the extreme temperatures outside of the warehouse. This problem needs to be solved, which of course Artek will do. As mentioned above, I really liked the design of this mount and my only disappointment was its lack of strength. I applaud Artek for their efforts to improve this product and their excellent attention to their customers.
