Look carefully at the photo of the product.

The product photo is somewhat misleading. The cable appears to be pointing the other way. I don't know who would point USB upside down, but it's also my fault for not catching it. However, these cables are actually very high quality! I don't see any particular benefit here, but the housing is made of aluminum and the braided cable looks high quality. Worked fine for a few data transfers and then crated when the right ones came.
