Review on 🚰 Modern Matte Black Delta Faucet 75935-BL Trinsic Robe Hook: Stylish & Functional Addition by Amber Chandler

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sturdy BRASS construction, clean hook!

Skip the Backstory We recently remodeled our master bathroom ourselves and decided we liked the price range and design of the Delta Trinsic line. Mainly because our existing lines (shower and bath valves) were Delta compatible and therefore Trinsic compatible without having to rebuild the lines. We bought a towel rail, several of those shower and sink hooks, a roman bath faucet and 2 shower heads and valves. The first thing that struck us about the Trinsic hooks (and towel rail) is their weight: these things are heavy! This is good as wet towels are heavy and contact with water creates harsh conditions. We've had the hooks on the wall for about 2 months and due to their size (see pic of my medium sized hand holding one up on the wall) we often hang several wet robes and towels on them at once. The catch, of course, is not the bottleneck. This is how the hook is attached to the wall. We have the subway tile, but not quite to the end of the wall, so it's basically sticking it to the drywall. For this we used TOGGLER hollow wall anchors (one anchor per hook, in the other hole we used a cheap screw in a plastic drywall anchor). The reason for this is that these togglers can carry a TON of weight. Now for the catches: Pros: Sturdy brass construction. This material will never rust. Heavy chrome plating. On the contrary: we bought a shower cubicle here that was not very well chromed and not brass: it is already rusty and warped. This chrome work will last a long time. EASY TO INSTALL: The hook, like most of these coat hangers and towel hooks, simply attaches to a metal plate that can be attached to any wall. The hook fits over the panel and a hidden slide underneath keeps it in place. He is tall. This is a big catch and I think you'll get a lot of stuff for the price you pay - that's a good price. We've looked at other places like Light in the Box, which often vary in quality, and nothing beats Revain with these (until Chrome can be handled). It is also available in stainless steel should you wish. Cons: As far as we could see, it only comes in a single-hook version. not really a minus point but would it be nice if there were other configurations like a double hook for couples? Again, we're picky now. Conclusion: A VERY high quality hook that will outlive your home. Excellent value for money and quality.
