This is actually the second pair I've bought as the first one got lost and had to be reordered. Pros: Very comfortable, soft, flexible body and sole. They're a bit wide with plenty of room to wiggle your toes. Some need ankle or arch support but I have healthy feet and the lack of support or frame makes it feel barefoot. There is almost no padding, when walking I really feel that the lugs on the sole are so thin and flexible. Cons: The rubber outsole is very flexible and soft, but too soft. After a few days at home and a week-long hike in Yosemite on mostly dirt and rocky trails with little to no rough terrain, the outsole is badly worn. If you were to wear these shoes outdoors, the sole would probably wear out after a month. Lightning is bad too. They were great, had to put a bit of wax on the zipper right from the start and now they are smooth but one doesn't hold up and the other opens. I squeeze both sliders as hard as I can with pliers, but it's still a problem. The heel space is ridiculously large, usually wide and x-wide shoes have a larger toe but the heel is the same size, but on these they are wide all over so the heel slips. That extra heel room is fun when you ride and feels uncomfortable. The strap on the back that you know you need to put shoes on feels flimsy and breaks when you really try to use it. Note that when they arrived there was a gusset opposite the zipper that was not fully cut. When you put them on for the first time, you'll need to rip open this seam to reveal the elastic underneath. It's not a problem, but I was afraid I was doing something wrong.
