These pillowcases are just what I was looking for. They are very chilling. I sweat at night due to menopause, it keeps me cooler at night. When I sweat they keep my very expensive pillows from getting wet. I ruined my old pillows with night sweats. They are soft and comfortable. I use a pillowcase over them but they are nice to the touch so you can use them without a pillowcase if you like. Now, instead of washing the pillows, all I have to do is wash the protector. They are 100% cotton and although I haven't washed them yet I would wash them in cold water and let them air dry. They fit my standard sized pillows perfectly, so I didn't want to make them smaller.
