I like it when the pointed tip is pushed into the concealer. The shape also offers many possible uses around the face. I don't use it with water and it works fine. With the lower part, I press the tinted moisturizer a little more firmly into the skin. Pleased with bright pink and black colors! September. 01/15/2020: My 2nd review on this product: I still love the sponge and especially its pointed tip, but after only one wash, which requires a light wringing, I got two scratches on the sponge, which is unsatisfactory. I hope the sellers contact me and replace them. Just a warning that your sponges may not survive washing. My guess is that the sponge material just isn't dense enough.
