Well made mixed lens. The bottom of the glass is thick and heavy, which keeps the glass stable when the drinks are being stirred. Above the wall, however, it is much thinner and is reminiscent of a wine glass in thickness. Thin walls are weaker, but this helps keep most of the weight on the ground, which provides stability. I fill it with an ice scoop so thin walls aren't a problem. If you just want to pour ice into a mixing glass, better serve it with a heavy beer glass. The design is attractive and the facets carved into the glass really show off the color of what you are mixing in it. It pairs well with a set of cut glass lenses. The volume is ideal for mixing 1-2 servings of most classic cocktails. A traditional alternative to drinks that require stirring, not shaking, this will add a classy touch to your bar style. Not necessary if you have a cobbler or a boston, but it's a great way to up your cocktail game and have fun. Be sure to order a cocktail strainer. The julep strainer works very well!
