I have purchased various Obagi products (mainly serums) over the years and have always been impressed. This balancing toner is also of high quality. It comes in a pump bottle which works well and only has a slight pleasant smell. I'm not sure if a balancing toner is perfect for my dry and sensitive skin, but I've been using this toner once a day after cleansing (then serum and face cream) for a few weeks now with great results. It feels refreshing and doesn't sting or make my skin tight. It cleared up an odd cluster of bumps (not sure if it's clogged pores or pimples) on my cheek after trying another brand of serum that made my skin worse. This Obagi toner gently exfoliates my skin, leaving my skin looking clearer and more radiant. It contains the astringent witch hazel which I've read various things about and may not be the best for dry skin. Surprisingly, however, my dry skin became hydrated after using this toner. I can't say for sure, but maybe it helps absorb my serums and creams from the exfoliation, or moisturizes from ingredients like panthenol. While this type of toner works better for less dry skin, I've only seen positive results when I add it to my regimen once a day. highlighted. 5 Stars.
