I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Verdict. I never understood why all sorts of Yabloko love poppies so much with their inadequate price in terms of price / performance ratio (I'm not talking about price / quality, here, probably, they are comparable). But I myself still wanted a poppy. Why, why, I did not realize, I wanted everything. Initially, my choice fell on the MacBook 12. In general, it suited me for a number of reasons, but I didn’t choose it for just one reason - the lack of full-fledged interfaces, and I didn’t want to buy a bunch of adapters, so I took Air. At first, for the reasons described in the shortcomings, I hated him and hated him for several days, until I figured everything out. After that, I just had to get used to the unusual layout of the keys and their combinations. Until now, I'm confused, which sometimes leads to not the best consequences. The first thing that struck me was the stability. No matter what anyone says, everything works smoothly and quickly. Directly even unusual after Windows was. Autonomy also pleased. There is practically no noise from the cooler, if you do not load the laptop with tasks, sometimes you even forget that it is there. Otherwise, the automatic backlight is still annoying (I don’t want to turn it off, because I’m used to auto-tuning) and the screen resolution, as well as its soiledness (I still don’t understand how to wipe fingerprints on the screen).

Pros
  • -First things first, of course, the look and build quality. Everything is on top, you will not say anything. -Autonomy is the scourge of most laptops. Right there, with my nature of use, everything is just great. With such a load, an ordinary screw laptop worked for an hour and a half at the most. In the poppy, the time has grown to at least 4.5 hours at full load. I don’t know how long it would have worked for me with normal use, but it’s enough for me. - No matter how they blamed him for his modest parameters for such a price (I agree that the price is extremely inadequate), but nevertheless. I don't know how the mac breaks down the load on hardware resources, but it manages to not slow down and smoothly switch between running applications without slowdowns. My very favorite KSP game, which is very demanding on performance, hung the Windows laptop almost tightly. It was stupidly impossible to do anything else during the game. Here you can also open 10 tabs in chrome, and everything will work smoothly. -The apple is glowing, which can not be said about the new poppies - No matter how trite it sounds, but in the light of new trends, the presence of two full-fledged USB ports, an expansion slot for cards and a Mini DipsplayPort (hello to all the same new poppies and poppy 12) -Again, this may seem strange to someone, but since mac os is still a *nix system, the presence of a terminal helps out in most cases and glitches. You can fine tune everything. -The ability to run in dual block without any special dances with a tambourine as well as Windows. In addition to the bootcamp, you can also run Windows from an external hard drive in a dual boot. - The relative simplicity of the system itself. -Weight, thickness, screen brightness and keyboard backlight. -Trackpad - it's great in terms of gestures and functionality (in part, but more on that below) -MagSafe same -Quiet
Cons
  • Screen. I can’t say that it’s absolutely terrible, but for 2022 they could have put it better. - Auto-brightness and auto-illumination of the keyboard. How it works, I do not understand at all. Those. sometimes podstaraivaet under lighting, sometimes not. Or is it my glitches, in general I didn’t like it. - Difficulty in disassembly and assembly of parts. It's so easy to disassemble it and change something (such as a drive) will not work. I can not say that this is a critical shortcoming, but nevertheless. - And this, in my opinion, is a serious shortcoming. The relative simplicity of the system translates into complete non-simplicity. And here's the thing. After the purchase, I chose English as the main language (blunted, yes). In the settings, I changed the localization to 2022 without any problems, but after that some of the menu and window elements remained in English. I already sinned on the tightness of the system itself, that in principle there is no translation into 2022 of these menu items and windows, but it turned out to be more and more difficult. The Mac axis does not understand that when changing localization it would be nice to translate everything, and not just what is immediately visible. As a result, I could not solve this problem without a terminal. Here's the simplicity for housewives. -In particular, I note the presence of several 2022 layouts. Normal and PC. But who, for you, in their right mind would guess that the PC is the usual layout, and the 2022 one is some kind of enchantingly idiotic? -Lack of familiar Windows keyboard shortcuts. More precisely, they are, but all these commands and options put me into a stupor at first. -Trepad - why, your mother, by default is not worth touching on it, like clicking with the mouse? I already thought that every time I had to press the trackpad. Fortunately, I guessed to go into the settings. And here I also note the lack of settings, when you, like on Windows, double-tap on the trackpad, hold your finger and this action is regarded as moving? To do this, you need to press the trackpad button and hold it to drive, which is extremely inconvenient, and your fingers get tired of it. -Lack of free sane programs for monitoring the state of the laptop (temperatures, etc.)
