Lightning beast. At maximum power, it radiates through the diffuser without any problems. It is very durable and not heavy. It is made of durable plastic and has a matte finish. So far I've only used it as a main flash with the diffuser that came with it and I'm very happy with the results. I can only recommend it as a beginner's device. Since it's entirely manual, you'll have to play around with your camera settings to get the perfect photo. This will help you understand your camera better and use the flash creatively. Don't hesitate, get this little gem, it's worth it. PS The diffuser works but is too thin for my taste. I'm thinking of adding a sheet of strong paper to diffuse the light better.
