Having ordered about 6 of these comforters including 2 newer double sizes (the rest were larger) my best conclusion is that if you are new you will never found anything better but when washed some of them start forming fluffy balls, they look awful and make a mess. The first two have held up with age and a few washes. I threw them away and replaced them with 2 new ones. They have been washed many times and they are still as beautiful as the day we received them and we still use them. The twins arrived last week and were used by the company. They liked their soft coziness but when they left I washed them because we caught a stomach virus they had before they came to us. When I washed them (only once) one of them fluffed up and one didn't, I washed them separately.
