Not recommended for small ones
They have a very strange smell right out of the box. It's also a bit difficult for my 5 year old to close them, sometimes they just don't match and it seems like you can't snap the top open. I asked him to try it before he uses it at school so I don't have to deal with scattered lunches. I will probably return if I don't decide to keep it for my older children. Overall I would recommend it. I used to have bengo boxes and I prefer them.
