I used to have a headphone stand/hanger with a clip to keep my HyperX Cloud II headphones from cluttering up desk space (to give you an idea of the weight). However, the previous clamp didn't stay on the table very well since I have a tempered glass table that's less than half an inch thick. I got this headphone holder as a replacement and it works like a charm. The spring loaded clamp is very strong and requires no minimum thickness. The spring itself is strong and keeps the hanger stable. The design is great and although this is advertised as a hanger for two headphones, the individual hangers 'stack' on top of each other so you can use it as a single or double headphone hanger and rotate the hangers any way you want. , 360d. I've been using it for over a week now and I'm very happy with the product.
