I bought this jacket for a trip to England. It was perfect for cold rainy weather. It's absolutely rainproof! The temperature was around 40 and I was wearing a light shirt underneath and I was warm. If it's colder, you'll need a sweater or thick shirt. I usually wear a medium size but after reading the reviews I bought a size large. The outer jacket was a bit loose but if I wanted to wear fleece over it the average size would be too small. I liked that the waist could be adjusted for a more feminine look. One thing I don't like is that the pockets are accessed from the top instead of the side, making it difficult to get your hands in. I was hoping the flaps on the pockets were for beauty and there was a slit for the hands on the sides, but there it was. The only thing I don't like is the huge hood. I had to keep it out of my sight the entire time I was using it. This is a really good quality jacket and overall I love this jacket and would definitely recommend it.
