Amazing antenna, best in category antennas

I had the antenna on a 20ft mast on our roof, held up by guy wires that screwed into the roof sheathing. No I didn't put it there, the previous owner put it there and stupidly I just left it there thinking that in my rural hilly area I need such gear to get a good signal. About 12 years ago I even replaced an existing antenna with one that was said to be very respected for digital signals at the time. Replacing the antenna on a 20ft mast was a real hassle but I figured it was worth it to get a good signal. A few weeks ago, a professional roofer climbed onto the roof with me and pointed out that all the wires holding the pole together had caused leaks that caused the roofing to rot. He said that the antenna mast should be dismantled. A few days ago he brought in a brigade and ripped out the old antenna and all the old tiles. As a result, I replaced 24 sheets of plywood. I inspected the damage and yes there was a lot of rot. That old antenna turned out to be quite expensive! Before the work team was supposed to arrive, I checked out the antennas that I thought might work in my attic and decided to run the marathon. It was more expensive than others, but after my roofing experience, I realized the difference in cost would be negligible. I was about to lose about 25 feet in overall height (losing the pole and having to place the loft block under the roof top) so I figured a cheap block might just be a waste of time and effort. I booked a marathon and despite the difficulties with COVID-19, it arrived just days later, the day after the roofers finished their job. I went up to the attic this morning to install a new antenna and have my fingers crossed. I really thought that losing 25 feet of height would mean the kiss of death for half the signals we got. Not right! I'm getting all the signals I've received before, and the few signals that were interrupted arrive crystal clear, without the signal stuttering and pixelation that we experienced before. This device is worth the money. I will recommend it to anyone who needs an over-the-air antenna, especially those with signal issues like me.
