Reservoir is not removeable

I had a Rowenta steam station for about 20 years, it was marvelous.While this station works really well and I am happy with the results of the ironing, why on earth did they change the design so that the reservoir is no longer removeable? Additionally, my previous station had a nice long power cord. This one is less than 5 feet and I have to add a power strip to be able to iron where I have been ironing for the past 20 years. Daft.

Pros

Super smooth gliding and the precision tip helps to reach the hard areas easily and allows excellent ironing and wide steam head allowing wide distribution of steam for quicker results

Cons

The product could cause water stains on fabrics if used incorrectly
