Pretty little camera. Bluetooth is good for transferring pictures to your phone, but I wish it had the same experience as the new m50, which automatically transfers pictures to the phone while the camera is recording. It would be great if Canon ever updated their old camera's firmware with new technology. However, I was most concerned about the size, and this one is smaller. But still not small enough to fit in your pocket. Not even my free pockets on jeans. You really need something like cargo pockets or jacket pockets. I still find it a lot easier to walk with than the m50. One thing I don't like is the manual focus. It's INCREDIBLY slow. I don't even know how slow it is! I've never dealt with such slow manual focus! In fact, it deserves to take off another star and become a title. Thinking about it, I'm not sure if manual focus is slow or if it's generally a slow continuous ring no matter what it's used for. I set it to manual focus. Switching between auto and manual focus is also frustrating. With the m50 lens and my 6d-L lens I can focus manually but then just autofocus. If I focus manually on the g1x and then decide it's better to use autofocus, I have to manually switch back to autofocus. Which is just annoying. Again, I wish they would update their firmware as their technology improves. Aside from my hatred of manual focus, this is a decent "pocket" camera.
