The duvet is so light and thin you almost have to worry about your purchase...until you use it! That's incredible! IT WAS WORTH IT! Probably the best thing I've bought other than my Mac. I'm getting hot, my husband is getting cold and we're BOTH very happy with it... it's never happened before! This is no good for those who really need a weighted blanket unless they can handle it over their anchor... and melt... the size is PERFECT! It's staggeringly gigantic - no more fighting for cover when you're practically swimming in it! We have a queen bed with a 14" base and 14" Nectar foam mattress, and the duvet covers the entire top with ample overhang on all three sides except for the head. bed that I don't see anywhere. A split between the mattress and the base hangs a few inches below on the long sides and nearly to the bottom of the base through the foot end of the bed. It's very soft... and smooth! (Might almost double as an eco-friendly, water-free, soap-free slip 'n' slide) Jokes aside...I seriously almost slipped off the bed, leaned on it and sat on the edge...means slipping off the edge...be careful...blank has tactics... And how can you not like the fact that it depicts the infamous "Trench Run", basically a storyboard in monochrome?! No weird smells or sensations out of the box... THERE ARE LOTS of those weird little plastic "hold 'em together" ones - (you know the ones you always have to double check you got them all from a pair of new b4 socks that They throw in the laundry...or the ones they seem to hide in EVERY ear (and maybe a tail, or a wing, or a pendant, or a limb) of every stuffed animal...though those weird little plastic ties are unmarked 97% of the time ?)… I think I removed 6, maybe eight of them… stopped counting after four, and after that there were at least a few, so carefully unfold the blanket and remove with scissors as you go to avoid any to make hole in it. These types of blankets are strong enough to get the job done for a few years, but once you poke a hole in them, they're never the same again... and they're definitely not strong enough to rely on to Coming out a third floor window, not for me to try that, I'm just pretty sure... In general... FOUR thumbs up from us (record!) So recommended! Would ABSOLUTELY buy again. Also arrived in a few days! Win^3!
