So far so good - yes, it's oil based, but don't be afraid to get oil on your skin. I have insanely dry skin - a few years ago I discovered that oil is the perfect antidote. We lubricate the skin, so why not our skin? I made the mistake of applying this to my eyelids which got a little red and irritated afterwards. Will avoid this in the future but the rest of my face tolerates it well and I have sensitive skin. I was happy to see that the eyelids were irritated because it helped ensure it was a good dose of retinoids. Great price so I'm sticking with it.
