Because my soundbar is mounted 57" off the floor and my DVD player and set-top box are in furniture a few feet from the soundbar, I needed a longer HDMI cable than the standard 12" HDMI Cables I found in other sources. Not only was the truly "long" HDMI cable capable of supporting an 18GHz signal, but the three-piece set for less than other sources that loaded with a cable or two was brighter than day. Now I've connected an add-on. I didn't notice any degradation in picture quality compared to what I saw with the 6" HDMI cable. I recommend this product.
