Took this with me as I thought it would be a brilliant solution for mounting a phone in a car as there isn't much space and I don't want to block or raise the vents with the air vent mount . I tried using one of these with an iPhone 12 Pro and it didn't hold it on the dash at all, or with the metal plate stuck in the case, which I wanted to avoid as it could interfere with wireless charging. I used to use an air vent/mag mount in my previous car and used a special case with a metal plate inside, but it wasn't enough for that. Although it will probably fit the iPhone 12 Mini perfectly.
