No wonder this item was on sale. Super glaring design flaws. Okay, first for the good. it's strong It punches 3 holes. It's easy to squeeze for aging or arthritic hands and has a handy pocket for punched paper holes. I use this 3 hole punch to put printed sheet music in a binder so I will never use more than 8-10 sheets at a time. Now for what worries me about this product. I've never had a 3 hole punch that didn't line up the paper at both ends, top and bottom. The paper does not lie exactly over the entire length, but only at the top. I've always had a product where the paper rests completely on the punch. These products only align at the top and the bottom of the paper folds up over the end of the punch making it very easy to tear the sheet and not punch evenly. It will bother me every time I use it. Also, the "lid" containing the discarded paper will eventually come off. The bottom of this stamp is one piece, with a valve that opens to drain the points. After opening and closing the lid umpteen times, the seam comes loose and tears off. I've had food containers of the exact same design, and yes, the valve will eventually come loose from being bent back and forth, back and forth. I don't expect this to happen for some time, but I'm already planning how to fix it if it does. Hole spacing isn't adjustable either, but I like that this handle locks in the down position for storage. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to keep this hammer drill. The more I type, the more I realize that I will be dissatisfied with this product. I don't see anyone mentioning this, I've worked in an office for years and can't believe a company would put out a product where the paper doesn't lay flat before the perforation.
