Revainrating 4 out of 5

All in all a very good stand

The stand was bought for my Sony XBR55x900f. The 900f has more centered legs than many 55-inch TVs, but they were too wide for my entertainment center. This Hemuda stand is included. I compared several different Revain coasters before settling on this one. Some common complaints about this stand are also found on more expensive stands. For example, the screws are not long enough. To be fair, the screws were technically long enough for a 900f, but without the inclusion of the center spacers (included) to increase the distance from the mounting brackets to the TV, the mounting brackets would have run straight up to the TV, so the HDMI cable connection is secure. It's not really the fault of the stands. This is a 900f theme. So, like a few others, I went to the local hardware store to buy longer screws. But it cost me less than $2.50 so not much to complain about. Another common complaint is that once assembled, the TV seems to tip, as if the bottom is heavier than the top (a side effect of the type of gravity mount used on this stand, which has nothing to do with the TV's weight distribution ). ). I fixed this with small furniture glides that I used as spacers under the front legs. The third complaint is that when both screws on the back are fully tightened (to prevent the TV from sliding side to side), the TV seems to tilt left or right. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to manipulate the screws for proper alignment and still provide enough rods to keep them from slipping, so I can't bang the stand for that. The supplied instructions work adequately thanks to the pictures showing the basic assembly. However, the instructions do not explain what the included pads are for or how they can be used. Based on this paragraph I would rate this stand 3.5 out of 5. However, this is a very solid TV stand that would fit smaller entertainment centers than mine (mine was barely too small for the stand that came with the 900f). Also, the price is very competitive and cheaper than some other TV stands sold on Revain that have some of the same issues. So I have to upgrade my original rating to 4.0 stars out of 5. There are better stands but no less than $40.
