Review on 🎧 KZ ZSX HiFi Earphones - 6 Drivers Hybrid IEM with Metal Panel and Detachable 2 Pin Cable, Ideal for Church Musicians and Bands (Cyan, No Microphone) by Brandon Perkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great listening experience

KZ The ZSX is an IEM with 6 drivers per side. With this new model, KZ has integrated the new symmetrical midrange/treble fittings DWEK. Each side consists of a 10mm dynamic driver, two sets of DWEK mid/high drivers and a 30095 tweeter. Accessories: The ZSX comes with 3 sets of Starline tips of different sizes and 1 pair of medium smooth silicone tips. . The kit includes a standard copper braided KZ detachable cable which is workable but not the best. The cable has pre-curved ear hooks and uses a 2-pin Type-C connector, the same as the KZ ZS10 Pro. Build Quality: The body is made of resin with zinc alloy faceplate and aluminum nozzle. Build quality, fit and finish is good, no noticeable gaps or protruding seams. The nozzle has an edge for attaching tips. Keep in mind that the metal front will pick up fingerprints but is easy to clean. fit and comfort. Despite the bulky body, the ZSX fits comfortably in my small ears. I could wear them for a long time without any discomfort. The ZSX is taller and more sculpted than the ZS10 Pro, but I found the ZSX to be more comfortable and ergonomic on my ears. The soundproofing is quite good. Due to the ZSX's bulkiness, they protrude further from the ear than other, more compact IEMs. Sound quality: These IEMs have no shortage of bass. Excellent subwoofer extension, well controlled and punchy. Good clarity and detail in the mids, but otherwise they don't stand out compared to the highs and lows. The ZSX's highs are the most noticeable change from the ZS10 Pro. High frequencies have good extension and excellent detail. Very clean and crisp delivery in the upper register with no noise. If you like the KZ ZS10 Pro but want more shine on the top end then the ZSX is perfect for that. The ZSX's high frequencies sound more natural and airy, with slightly more clarity and micro-detail. The soundstage is nice and roomy so you don't feel cramped, and good instrument separation easily handles more complex tracks. Overall, the ZSXs offer excellent sound quality for the price and are my favorite KZs to date.
